Joint Flag Day
Support Our Flag Day

Great news! We are having a joint Flag Day on 19 July with The Dragon Foundation*. It is part of an energetic community-wide fund-raising drive. Community involvement is so important to us, helping us to keep pace with youth's changing needs.

Your help means that we can constantly energize our core services. We provide thousands of different activities, from IT training to creative workshops, from multi-sport competitions to English public speaking contests. Talented and underprivileged young people all need encouragement from all of us to develop fully.

We will be out in force on Hong Kong Island on 19 July and we need your help if we are to reach our target of HK$2 million. A simple donation would be very welcome but you can also help us to sell flags by providing volunteers or help us distribute collection bags among your staff for early donations. In all, we are looking for at least 4,000 volunteers to help sell flags. Find a way that suits you, but please, do join us in this major campaign!

36 secondary schools are served by professionally qualified social workers from the Federation. The counselling work of our school social work service is wide-ranging and includes dealing with school related problems, mainly focusing on adjustment to school life and study motivation, family problems and emotional or mental health problems. Our school social work unit is also running the Adolescent Depression Project, and helps teachers deal with such cases.
