The furore and insults being tossed back and forth between Hong Kong and Mainland people are not that difficult to understand given that tensions are running high. People here do feel aggrieved about pregnant women taking up bed-spaces in public hospitals and about Mainland buyers of apartments that are left vacant. However this does not make the vitriol any more acceptable and really cannot excuse what is essentially prejudice ... more ...
