| 2009 Best Practice Awards in Social Welfare: Gold Award for HKFYG |

| HKFYG has won the highest best practice award given by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). It was made for corporate planning and is entitled the "Best Practice Gold Award for Organizational Change". The awards have been made every two years since 2003 and at the HKCSS AGM on 4 November they went to two winners out of a total 92 entries. |
