Final countdown ... one day to go
Olympic stars, bursting with energy and skill, are their countries' pride and joy. Our youth will be cheering them on at HKFYG Youth SPOTs, celebrating tomorrow and throughout the Games.

All eyes in Shatin will be looking out for Hong Kong show jumper, 20 year-old Patrick Cheng, one of the city's torch bearers. And at Fanling there will be 18 year-old Chinese eventer, Alex Hua Tin, who learned to ride in Hong Kong at the age of 4. Hong Kong's Paralympic teams are also ones to watch next month. In the last Olympics, the 26-member delegation brought home an astonishing 19 medals including 11 golds. To inspire parents, there are past gold medallists Fu Mingxia and Lee Lai-san, both now proud mothers.

These outstanding people fire youngsters' imaginations. As San-san says, "Everyone can be a champion." At HKFYG Youth SPOTs we'll be waving the flag for them.
