Help children escape from the poverty trap
The purpose of The Child Development Fund (CDF) is to ensure that Hong Kong does not become a society marked by intergenerational poverty. The aim of the Fund is to encourage and assist disadvantaged families in a savings plan. They will contribute $200 a month, setting it aside for their children, and their savings will be matched by Government. With a secured 'nest egg', the hope is that the cycle of poverty will be broken, giving hope to particularly vulnerable young people.

The Federation strongly supports this endeavour. We appeal to companies and individuals to match the youngsters' efforts to save. On top of simply financial donations, we believe young people also need skills enhancement training and mentorship. Companies, corporate volunteers and private individuals alike will be welcome to join this very direct method of giving. Your reward will be seeing self-empowerment and self-belief grow.
Hope for young people

With the right motivation all Hong Kong youth can have hope for their future. With you and HKFYG by their side, a brighter future will be within their grasp. Call Bonnie for more details of the Child Development Fund Pioneer Projects, tel 3755 7101.
